Dr. Saeid Chavoshi, Phd, C.Psych
Clinical & School Psychologist | Clinic Director
Dr. Saeid Chavoshi is a Clinical and School Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. He is an adjunct professor at Western University and a Clinical Supervisor at York University. He is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association, where he mentors students on pathways to becoming a healthcare professional. He serves on the board of directors of Ontario Psychological Association and represents Ontario at the Council of Professional Associations of Psychologists. Prior to establishing the clinic, Dr. Saeid was a School Psychologist at a Toronto School board. He completed his residency through the University of Toronto's Residency Consortium after his studies at the University of Toronto and his doctoral training at York University.
Dr. Saeid provides psychoeducational and ADHD assessments for children and adults. He has expertise in the evaluation of ADHD in adults, with a particular focus on the diagnosis of women and individuals from diverse backgrounds. Dr. Saeid serves on the research committee of the Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance. His research focused on ADHD and self-regulation, including developing interventions for improving time-management and executive functioning skills.
Dr. Joseph Mirabella, Phd, C.Psych
Clinical And School Psychologist
Dr. Joe Mirabella is a Clinical and School Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Toronto in Developmental Psychology (Brain and Behaviour). He is former Chief Psychologist of the Toronto Catholic District School Board and is currently working as a School Psychologist at a Peel school board. He is also Secretary for the Ontario Psychological Association, Section on Psychology and Education (OPA SecPE). At the PsychoEd Clinic, Dr. Mirabella is part of the Psych-Ed and ADHD Assessment service, providing psychometric and assessment services to children and adolescents.
Dr. Stephanie Tang, Phd, C.Psych
Clinical And School Psychologist
Dr. Stephanie Tang is a clinical and school psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She completed her Ph.D. in School Psychology, and a Graduate Certificate in Interdisciplinary Neuroscience from the University of Rhode Island. Dr. Tang has extensive experience working in elementary and high schools. Since returning to Canada in 2016, Dr. Tang has provided comprehensive psychoeducational and mental health assessments to children and adolescents as a psychologist for a Toronto School Board. In addition, Dr. Tang provides evidence-based counseling to children and adolescents. At The PsychoEd Clinic, Dr. Tang focuses on providing comprehensive psychoeducational assessments.
Armita Hosseini, M.Ed., M.A., C. Psych. Assoc.
Psychological Associate, Consultant in Adult Autism Assessment
Armita is registered Clinical and Counselling psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She has a Master’s of Education in Counseling Psychology from University of Western Ontario and a Master’s of Arts in Clinical-Developmental Psychology from York University. Throughout her clinical training, she has worked for publicly funded mental health agencies including Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, East Metro Youth Services, Aisling Child and Family Discoveries Centre. Armita focuses on assessing and treating ADHD and ASD in adults. Armita also treats and conducts psycho-educational and psychological assessments for children, adolescents and adults. Her practice is LGBTQ-affirmative.
Navdeep Pabla, RN, BSN, MSN, NP
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
Navdeep is a Board-Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner and licensed in Ontario, Canada and Michigan, USA. She has been an Adult Nurse Practitioner for 12 years and a registered nurse for 22 years. She is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners; College of nurses of Ontario and RNAO.
In her 20+ years of nursing she has worked in a level one trauma hospital in metro Detroit on various units, med surg, geriatric, ER, occupational health, urology, neurology, and hospitalist in Michigan hospitals.
Navdeep provides expert care and medication management to adults who have been diagnosed with ADHD at The PsychoEd Clinic.
Dr. Sari Isenstein, PhD, C.Psych (Supervised Practice)
Supervised Practice Psychologist
Sari completed her MS.c. degree in psychology, neuroscience and behaviour at McMaster University and her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in clinical and counselling psychology at the University of Toronto. Sari completed her clinical training in a variety of settings, including the OISE Psychology Clinic, Community Head Injury Resource Services, North York General Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children. She completed her pre-doctoral residency through the Kingston Internship Consortium, with major rotations at KidsInclusive/Hotel Dieu Hospital, Ongwanada Resource Centre, and Providence Care Hospital. Sari provided comprehensive psychoeducational and/or neuropsychological assessments to older adults with age-related cognitive impairment, medically complex adults with acquired brain injuries, and children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, neurological diagnoses and other complex needs. At the PsychoEd Clinic, Sari provides psychoeducational assessments and treatment to children, adolescents, and adults.
SHeila Konanur, MA, PhD
Senior Clinical Associate
Sheila Konanur is a doctoral candidate in Clinical-Developmental Psychology at York University. She is affiliated with the Trauma & Attachment Lab, and her graduate research focuses on the effectiveness of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with maltreated children in community-based settings. Prior to starting her graduate training, Sheila worked in the non-profit sector as a settlement counsellor at an agency providing support to newcomers to Canada. Sheila has provided psychological assessment, treatment, and consultation at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), York University Psychology Clinic (YUPC), Kindercare Pediatrics, and SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health (SickKids CCMH). For the last several years and Prior to joining The PsychoEd Clinic, Sheila held a role in Psychological Services and the Toronto District School Board.
Angela Celebre, MA, PhD Candidate
Doctoral Resident
Angela completed her undergraduate studies in human biology and psychology at the University of Toronto and obtained her M.A. from the School and Applied Child Psychology program at Western University. She has worked with children, adolescents, and families across both school and clinical settings, including Merrymount Family Support and Crisis Center, Mary J. Wright Child and Youth Development Clinic, and the Waterloo Region District School Board. She is currently completing her doctorate in School and Applied Child Psychology at Western University and her residency at The PsychoEd Clinic.
Alina Lyons, MA, edD Candidate
Doctoral Trainee
Alina Lyons completed her undergraduate studies in human biology and psychology at the University of Toronto and obtained her M.A. from the School Psychology program at the University of British Columbia. She is pursuing her doctoral studies at the University of Toronto in the Doctor of Education in Counselling Psychology, Counselling & Psychotherapy Field. Alina has over eight years of experience providing psychological assessments to children, youth, and adults. She worked as a Certified School Psychologist in British Columbia. She is currently working as a psychoeducational consultant for a Toronto School board. Alina is part of the Adult ADHD Service at The PsychoEd Clinic where she provides psychometric and assessment services to adults and supervision to junior associates. In addition, Alina provides ADHD coaching and counselling to adults diagnosed with ADHD.
Shayna Fox Lee, MA, PhD Candidate
Doctoral Trainee
Shayna Fox Lee obtained her master’s degree from York University, where she is a doctoral candidate and lectures in the Psychology Department. Shayna has served on the executive board and held an editorship for Division 26 of the American Psychological Association. Her research focuses on the development and verification of mindfulness interventions, as well as therapeutic regulation. Shayna is part of the Adult ADHD Service at The PsychoEd Clinic where she provides psychometric and assessment services to adults and supervision to junior associates.
Rotem Petranker, MA, PhD Candidate
Doctoral Trainee
Rotem Petranker completed a bachelor's in psychology at the University of Toronto and received his graduate degree in psychology from York University. He is completing his doctorate in psychology at McMaster University. Rotem has worked as a clinician at the York University Psychology clinic where he provided a variety of psychological services to a diverse population. He has also worked in the Thompson Centre at Sunnybrook hospital to lead mindfulness-based intervention with a focus on clients with OCD and anxiety. Rotem is part of the Adult ADHD Service at The PsychoEd Clinic where he provides psychometric and assessment services to adults.
Rachel Yeboah, MA, RP
Clinical Associate and Psychometrist
Rachel is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She is a General Member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists. She is a Canadian Certified Vocational Evaluator/Fellow (CCVE (F)) with the College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals. Rachel Yeboah has worked in the field of vocational rehabilitation as a Vocational Evaluator and Psychometrist since 2009. She has been working as a Registered Psychotherapist since 2015. She has 13 years of experience helping individuals with disabilities who have experienced physical and/or psychological barriers to re-entering the workforce. Moreover, she has extensive experience with psychometric evaluation methods.
Marilia Carvalho, MA
Clinical Associate and Psychometrist
Marilia Carvalho completed her undergraduate at York University, and obtained her M.A. from the Applied Psychology (Clinical Stream) program at Laurentian University. Since then, she has provided psychological services to children, youth, and adults in various settings, such as hospitals, crisis lines, private practices and school boards. Marilia has over five years of experience in the psychology field. In particular, she has extensive experience with assessment, including conducting comprehensive psychoeducational and ADHD assessments. She is currently working as a psychoeducational consultant for a Toronto School board. At The PsychoEd Clinic, she is a part of the Adult ADHD Clinic and completes psychoeducational assessments with both children and adult populations. In addition, she is pursing registration with the CPO as a Psychological Associate.
Taissa Fuke, MA
Clinical Associate
Taissa earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Ottawa and her M.A. degree in psychology with a focus on Lifespan Development at Brock University. Her graduate research focussed on preschool children’s cognitive development. She is currently coordinating a research project focused on improving mental health outcomes for adults with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder. Taissa is part of the Post-Secondary ADHD Service at The PsychoEd Clinic where she provides psychometric and assessment services to emerging adults. Taissa is passionate about continuing her training and education towards becoming a clinical psychologist.
Masi Mehrabanpour, B.sc, M.Psy
Clinical Associate
Masi completed his undergraduate degree in psychology, followed by a graduate certificate in addictions and mental health. After further training completed his Masters in psychology at Adler Graduate Professional School. Masi has previously worked in diverse settings with adults, including in-patient treatment for addiction disorders. Masi has diverse experience in assisting adults facing challenges such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, emotion regulation issues, and addiction. He is experienced in various psychotherapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic psychotherapy. He is engaged in providing ADHD coaching and assessment services at The PsychoEd Clinic.
Azin dastpak, M.Sc, M.Psy Candidate
Psychometrist and Graduate Trainee
Azin completed her Master’s degree from Simon Fraser University. She later returned to pursue further post-secondary training with the ultimate goal of becoming a clinical psychologist. She is currently completing her graduate training in applied psychology with a focus of working with adults with ADHD, OCD, and mood related disorders. Azin has extensive experience with psychometric test administration, including psychoeducational assessment instruments, as well as diagnostic interviewing, with both adult and adolescent populations. At The PsychoEd Clinic, Azin is involved in the Adult ADHD Clinic and psychometric test administration in psychoeducational assessments.
Nellie Zia, BA, BFA, M.Psy Candidate
Graduate Trainee
Nellie is a graduate student at Adler Graduate Professional School, completing her practicum training in assessment and diagnostic interviewing at The PsychoEd Clinic. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and fine arts from York University. In addition, she is a certified life coach and holds a certificate in Mindfulness Training for Emotional Resilience (EMTR) from Adler Graduate Professional School. She is a part-time clinical associate working closely with a child psychiatrist who specializes in children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, mood disorders, and an autism spectrum disorder.

Blair Zasitko, B.Sc.
Operations Manager
Blair obtained his bachelor's degree in cognitive science and human biology from the University of Toronto. His career path has been diverse, including roles in early and late phase clinical research, sales management, social media and digital marketing, and founding precision manufacturing business specializing in titanium. Currently, at The PsychoEd Clinic, Blair prioritizes coordinating day-to-day activities and establishing the groundwork for expanded operational capacity for our institutional partners and clinical services.
Azin dastpak, M.Sc
Clinical Services Manager
Azin is the Clinic Manager and Psychometrist at The PsychoEd Clinic with a passion for child psychology. She received her Master's degree from Simon Fraser University. She later returned to university to pursue further studies in psychology with the ultimate goal of becoming a clinical psychologist. At the clinic, Azin oversees intake team, manages the clinic, and is involved with providing clinical services. As well, Azin is involved in innovative projects in improving psychological assessment instruments to our post-secondary institutional partners' clinical needs.
Joseph Voronov, B.Sc.
Clinic Coordinator
Joseph completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology at McMaster University along with an honours thesis that examined the relationship between psychosocial wellbeing and quality of life outcomes among outpatients with schizophrenia. Currently, he holds a Research Analyst position at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) where he explores shelter-based violence and service restrictions among individuals experiencing homelessness. At the clinic, Joseph serves as the first point of contact for patients seeking an ADHD or Psychoeducational assessment and conducts a thorough intake process with patients that covers their primary symptoms and affected areas of life. Joseph is dedicated towards the field of mental health and is looking to continue his education in hopes of becoming a clinical psychologist.
Kim Khazin, M.A.
Clinic Coordinator
Kim Khazin completed her bachelors degree in psychology from York University and additionally obtained her masters in forensic and legal psychology from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Her graduate research focused on compliant and coercive behaviour in university students and she is passionate about continuing her education and training to become a clinical forensic psychologist. At the clinic, Kim works as the intake coordinator, providing a first point of contact for patients seeking an ADHD or psychoeducational assessment, and conducts thorough intakes with new patients.

Dr. Laith Barsoom, MD, CCFP
Consulting Physician
Dr. Barsoom is a licensed and board certified physician specialized in Interventional Pain Management in Ontario and a member of the College of Family Physicians of Canada. He completed his residency at the University of Saskatchewan, and a fellowship in Hospital Medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Barsoom is specialized in Interventional Pain Management. He also focuses on Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapies and migraine headache pain management. He has been practicing medicine in Toronto since 2005 and is affiliated with the Scarborough Hospital where he provides surgical assist.

Dr. Julie Wallis completed her Doctorate in Clinical Developmental Psychology at York University and is registered as a clinical psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Dr. Wallis completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Hincks-Dellcrest Centre (now the SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health) in Toronto. Her training and experience center on the complex psychological assessment of children, integrative psychotherapy, parent counselling/coaching, and family therapy. Dr. Wallis offers consultation and coaching to parents of young children, and she provides bilingual psychoeducational assessments for students enrolled in French immersion or extended French programs.

Dr. Fitzsimmons is a clinical psychologist, registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Her practice involves working with children, adolescents and their parents. Dr. Sarah Mastoras is a registered School Psychologist with extensive experience working within the school system. She completed her doctorate at the University of Calgary, where her research focused on resilience in children with ADHD. She conducts comprehensive psychoeducational assessments with children from kindergarten through high school to better understand and support their learning needs and well-being. Dr. Basile (she/her) is a clinical and school psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Her scope of practice includes work with children, adolescents, and their parents. Jackie Silver is a Registered Dietitian in Toronto who provides virtual nutrition counseling tailored to the neurodivergent communities. I am a seasoned professional in the field of exercise physiology and dietetics, holding a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology and Sports Nutrition from Florida State University. Currently, I am furthering my expertise by pursuing a PhD. in Kinesiology at the University of Toronto. My experience primarily revolves around nutrition assessment and prescription in those with active lifestyles (both in working professionals and physically active adults), specifically for individuals learning to navigate ADHD and other mental health considerations such as anxiety, depression, and OCD. These conditions often influence eating habits, and I am dedicated to understanding and addressing these unique challenges.
